Louise Ingram Eliminated in 6th Place ($4,220)

Harry Ligos opened with a raise from middle position to 51,000 and Danny Tang made the call on the button. Louise Ingram was all in for less than the big blind as the flop was dealt {8-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}.

Both live players checked. The turn brought the {Q-Hearts} and Ligos led out for 62,000. Tang shrugged his shoulders and flashed the {10-Diamonds} before folding.

Ligos flipped {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} to be well in front of Ingram's {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

The river was the {9-Spades} and Ingram finishes the day in 6th place for $4,220 in prize money.

Liad Moshe Eliminated in 7th Place ($3,376)

Liad Moshe moved all in from early position for 154,000 and Danny Tang tanked for a long time in the cutoff before making the call.

Moshe: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Tang: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

Moshe needed some help to survive but the board was all Tang's when it fell {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades}{J-Spades}{2-Spades} to give him quads! Moshe leaves in 7th place for a tidy collect of $3,376 in prize money.

Tang is now out in front with 415,000 chips.

Ingram Triples Up

Louise Ingram has just tripled up after her {A-Clubs}{10-Spades} made a full house on a board of {9-Spades}{A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} against two opponents.

She is now up to 42,000 and back in contention.

Moshe Doubles Through Jeffreys

Liad Moshe moved all in from middle position with {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Andrew Jeffreys made an interesting call in the small blind with {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Jeffreys couldn't hit another miraculous flush like his earlier attempt with a baby suited connector as the board of {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} wasn't enough to overcome the pair of eights for Moshe. He doubles to 155,000 with Jeffreys falling to 222,000.

Philip Iglesias Eliminated in 8th Place ($2,532)

Philip Iglesias was all in from the cutoff with both Michael Bancroft and Andrew Jeffreys making the call.

The two live players checked down a board of {6-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{K-Spades}{9-Clubs} and the cards were tabled.

Jeffreys {6-?}{3-?} wasn't enough to overcome the {A-Spades}{6-Hearts} of Iglesias, but it was the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} of Bancroft which rivered a set and collected the pot to eliminate Iglesias in 8th place for a payday of $2,532.

Geoff Channing Eliminated in 9th Place ($1,899)

Geoff Channing is the next casualty of this final table and once again it was at the hands of chip leader Harry Ligos.

Ligos raised from late position to 41,000 and Channing moved all in for his last 18,000. The blinds folded and the players showed their holdings:

Channing: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Ligos: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Channing heads to the cashier to collect $1,899 for his 9th place finish. Ligos is now up to 330,000 chips.

Jeffreys Gets Busy

Andrew Jeffreys
Andrew Jeffreys
Andrew Jeffreys has been busy recently, with the blinds now at 8,000/16,000 he has raised the last three pots to 42,000 preflop and taken down the blinds and antes uncontested. The last two occasions have been against the short stacks on the table, but it seems that they are not prepared to gamble...yet. Jeffreys is up to 285,000.

Nick Bizimoski Eliminated in 10th Place ($1,266)

Nick Bizimoski - 10th Place
Nick Bizimoski - 10th Place
Harry Ligos opened with a preflop raise to 42,000 from under the gun before Nick Bizimoski moved all in for his last 44,000 from the cutoff. The blinds folded and Ligos naturally made the call.

Bizimoski: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Ligos: {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The board fell {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and Ligos spikes a jack on the river to end the tournament for Bizimoski in 10th place for a collect of $1,266.

Raise and Take It

After the full throttle action of the past 8 hours of play, the start of the final table has been a relatively subdued affair to date. There have been very few flops seen and players seem content to go back to a more traditional style of "raise and take it" poker.

Perhaps they are enjoying the freedom of slightly deeper stacks. With the blinds still increasing every 25 minutes they won't have much time to get settled before the action heats up once again!
