Martin Comer Halved

Martin Comer is down to about 11,000.

Comer lost the majority of his chips after firing all the way down with {a-?}{7-?} on a {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board. An opponent check called the whole way with {A-?}{10-?}.

Comer huffed as his opponent gathered in the pot.

Glazed

Jamie Glazier has doubled up
Jamie Glazier has doubled up
Jamie Glazier has just busted Sherif Derias.

Preflop, Derias opened to 650, one player made the call and then Glazier raised to 3,600 from the cutoff. Derias called and the other player folded.

They took a flop of {2-Spades}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts} which they checked to the {10-Hearts} turn.

On the turn Derias checked to Glazier who made it 6,325. Derias called leaving about 5,000 chips behind.

The river {4-Clubs} had Derias check once again and Glazier moved all in covering Derias who made the call.

"Set of kings," said Andrew Demetriou before Glazier had a chance to roll his cards over. Demetriou was correct as Glazier tabled {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

Derias mucked his hand and headed for the rail.

Two Pair No Good?

John Dalessandri
John Dalessandri
John Dalessandri is now amongst the chip leaders after taking down a huge pot on the turn.

Preflop, it was 1,550 three ways to the {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop. Two checks and the player in late position fired 4,500. One player folded as Dalessandri thought for a few moments before making the call.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Dalessandri checked before being met with a bet of 6,500. Dalessandri quickly announced he was all in for an additional 13,825, as it was his opponent's turn in the think tank.

Dalessandri rocked back in his chair with arms folded over his head, as his opponent fired a barrage of probing questions.

"Is two pair no good?" he asked, but Dalessandri didn't respond. The player found a fold and Dalessandri scooped the pot without showdown to jump up over 40,000 chips.

"You Call You Win"

Karib Karib can run the odd bluff
Karib Karib can run the odd bluff
In the hand directly following Jamie Glazier's double up against Sherif Derias, Glazier tangled with Karib Karib.

On a flop of {6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} Glazier flat-called a 1,000 chip bet from Karib. The turn {3-Clubs} saw Karib fire 2,000 chips and Glazier went into the tank before opting to call.

On the river {8-Diamonds} Karib fired out 6,000 and Glazier tanked it again. This time he made a pained fold.

Karib rolled over {9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} quick as a whip, for a big bluff.

"You call you win," taunted Karib as he dragged the pot.

Miles From Where He Wants To Be

David Miles is gone after losing a couple of big hands.

In the first Miles led 1,800 on a flop of {4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop and a player in late position came along.

The turn {6-Spades} had Miles as the aggressor again betting 2,600 which the opponent flat called. The river {3-Diamonds} saw Miles check to his opponent who took the lead betting 3,000. Miles check-raised to 8,250 and his opponent instantly moved all in.

Miles tanked for a little bit, possibly for show, before laying his hand down and dropping to 7,275 in chips.

In his elimination hand three players took a {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop for 1,900 chips each. Guillaume Sosnouski in middle position bet out 2,000 and Miles moved all in. Both of the opponents called locking the main pot.

On the turn {k-Hearts} Sosnouski moved all in and the small blind folded.

Sosnouski {A-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Miles {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The river {5-Hearts} was not enough to get Miles home.

Sosnouski drags a huge pot, while Miles hits the rail.
