Hong Doubles Through Vogelsang

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Christoph Vogelsang opened in middle position for 29,000 and called the shove of big blind Nan Hong.

Hong: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Vogelsang: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Hong didn't have to sweat long as the flop came {8-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Spades} giving him a winning flush and leaving Vogelsang with no recourse but to ship it.

Beresford Eliminates Vaskaboinikau

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Conor Beresford and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau were all in when we got to their table, with the latter at risk for about 100,000 in late position. Beresford was in a dominating spot with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} against {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, and he sent Vaskaboinikau to the rail after a {4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board.

Reard With The Best Hand

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Alexandre Reard raised to 24,000 from the cutoff, Timur Margolin three-bet to 84,000 on the button, and Reard called. The {Q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{J-Hearts} flop went check/check.

On the {Q-Hearts} turn, Reard bet 60,000 and Margolin called. The river was the {A-Diamonds} and Reard bet 85,000. Margolin quickly called again.

Reard showed {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for aces and queens, enough to take it down.

Meijer van Putten Falls

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Jasper Meijer van Putten called off for about 50,000 in the big blind when Benjamin Pollak jammed the small.

Pollak: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Meijer van Putter: {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Meijer van Putten moved to exit after the {5-Spades}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop, but a {6-Diamonds} gave him pause as he asked for a seven. The river was a {j-Clubs} though, sending the EPT Prague champ back home.
