At 12 p.m. noon local time, Day 4 of the 2017 PokerStars Championship Barcelona €5,300 Main Event will get underway at the annex of Casino Barcelona and 70 hopefuls remain out of a field of 1,682 entries, each eying the trophy and first-place payout of €1,410,000 that comes along with it. All players have €18,190 locked up so far and the action will recommence in level 21 with blinds of 8,000/16,000 and a running ante of 2,000.
Leading the field of survivors is Australia's Benjamin Richardson with 2,804,000 followed by Japan's Tsugunari Toma (2,448,000) while Scott Wellenbach from Canada makes for an international top three with 2,032,000. Other big stacks include Aleksandr Gofman (1,915,000), Patrick Leonard (1,785,000), Nadia Wanzi (1,657,000), Brian Kaufman Esposito (1,465,000), Albert Daher (1,382,000), Usman Siddique (1,296,000), Igor Dubinskyy (942,000) Alex DiFelice (865,000).
Raffaele Sorrentino knows exactly how it feels to lift the PokerStars Championship trophy after emerging victorious in Monte Carlo earlier this year and will return with an above-average stack of 955,000 while PokerStars Team Pro Andre Akkari advanced to Day 4 with 566,000.

Paraskevas Tsokaridis chipped up and chopped a pot with Pim Kuipers after calling bets of 55,000 on the turn for 55,000 and 95,000 on the river. Kuipers showed and Tsokaridis had for an equally strong hand.
Igor Dubinskyy defended his big blind against a raise to 35,000 by [Removed:146] and eventually tried to take down the pot by betting the river. Guerfi called and was shown for a busted straight draw, Guerfi called with and was good.
