Savchenko Among Chip Leaders

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Artem Savchenko had already built a decent stack early on and that grew bigger after a multi-way hand with Igor Dubinsky and Mikhail Rudoy. Rudoy raised to 350 and was called by three opponents including aforementioned Savchenko on the button, Dubinsky in the small blind and the big blind.

On the {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop all four players checked and Rudoy bet the {6-Diamonds} turn for 800. Only Savchenko called and did so again for 3,000 on the {4-Clubs} river. Rudoy turned over {A-Hearts}{6-Spades} for aces and sixes, which Savchenko had beat with {7-Spades}{4-Spades} for trips fours.
