"snapcallzzz" Felts Two With Queens

In Level 18 (3,500/7,000/875), "snapcallzzz" raised to 15,000 from middle position, and "toddchipman" three-bet shoved for 73,115 from the hijack. "Colineyes" then four-bet shoved for 170,378 from the cutoff, and action folded back to "snapcallzzz", who took a few moments before making the call, leaving themselves with just 940 in chips.

"toddchipman": {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
"Colineyes": {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
"snapcallzzz": {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The {5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop gave "toddchipman" a flush draw, but the {5-Diamonds} turn and {q-Diamonds} river gave "snapcallzzz" a full house and the double knockout.

"icecube2" Sizzlin', Felts Funaro

Frank Funaro
Frank Funaro

In Level 17 (3,000/6,000/750), "icecube2" raised to 15,000 from middle position, and Frank "thewholefunk" Funaro three-bet shoved for 123,902 next to act. Action folded back to "icecube2", who quickly called.

Frank "thewholefunk" Funaro: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
"icecube2": {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

"icecube2" added to his lead when the {q-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop gave him a set, and Funaro couldn't hit running cards on the {6-Hearts} turn or {2-Hearts} river, eliminating him.

"8bluffdaddy8" Flips Out "AvaGray"

In Level 17 (3,000/6,000/750), Ryan "ISlowRollYou" Hohner raised to 12,000 from middle position, and "AvaGray" three-bet shoved for 75,297 from the cutoff. "8bluffdaddy8" four-bet shoved for 210,225 from the small blind, and everyone else folded.

"AvaGray": {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
"8bluffdaddy8" {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

"8bluffdaddy8" held two eights, just like in his user name, and the eights delivered a set on the {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. The {k-Clubs} turn left "AvaGray" looking for a club or a ten to survive, but "8bluffdaddy8" filled up on the {9-Spades} river to eliminate "AvaGray".

"S_R732" earns the pot with jacks

In Level 15 (2,000/4,000/500), "BigAl07094" limped in from under the gun, and Brian "Wsopboy1997" Sherrier raised to 13,200 from the cutoff. "S_R732" called in the big blind, as did "BigAl07094".

Action checked to Sherrier on a {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, and he bet 20,520. Only "S_R732" called.

Both players checked the {8-Hearts} turn, and the {8-Clubs} fell on the river. "S_R732" check-called a bet of 25,992 from Sherrier, and Sherrier revealed {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. "S_R732" had him beat with {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, however, and took down the pot.

The Numbers Are In!

Registration has come to a close in Event #27: $300 NLHE [Sunday Special SE], and the $50,000 guaranteed prize pool was easily crushed, as 231 entries built a prize pool of $64,680 to be split amongst the top 31 players.

A min-cash earns $678.35, and making an appearance at the final table nets a cool $1,229.34. All eyes are on the top prize of $12,613.85, however, and the remaining 90 players are all in the hunt for that five-figure payday.
