Reese Snags an Early One With Ace High

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Action was opened under the gun to 300 by Adam Reese. The small blind called and they were off to a flop.

The Q105 landed and action quickly checked through to a 6 turn. The small blind then led out for 400. Reese called.

The river brought a 7 and the small blind glanced at their cards before checking. Reese only thought for a moment before checking back.

The small blind shook his head and Reese quickly tabled AK for just ace high to take down the pot early on Day 1. Reese was at the final table in last week's opening event at the PokerStars Summer Series and finished fifth.
