Set Over Set Turns Into Chop

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On a flop of {9-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Hearts} Kevin Ryan bet 15,000 and was called by George Awad. The turn was the {j-Hearts}, Awad bet 20,000 which caused Ryan to think for a while before moving all in. Awad snap called, nearly beating Ryan into the pot with the chips and turned over {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for top set which was crushing the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} bottom set of Ryan.

But the {q-Clubs} binked off on the river to give both players a straight on the board to chop up the spoils. Awad shook his head while Ryan smiled. relieved that his tournament was still alive.
