Newland Doubles Through Zhu in a Sick Hand

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Daniel Hughes limped in from under the gun, and Vincent Newland raised to 155,000 from the cutoff. Bohao Zhu three-bet to 435,000 on the button, and action folded back to Newland. Newland tanked for a minute before four-bet shoving for 1.47 million, and Zhu snap-called.

Vincent Newland: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Bohao Zhu: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Zhu spiked a set on the {q-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop, but Newland could hit a ten to make Broadway. The {k-Clubs} turn gave Zhu a full house, but Newland was still live, drawing to a larger full house and another out with a Royal Flush draw. A throng of people crowded around the table before the {a-Spades} struck the river, leading to a crowd of people cheering in unison, and Newland dropping his head with a smirk, as he hit a higher full house to take more than half of Zhu's remaining stack.

Kade Loses the Chip Lead After Big Pot With Hughes

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The full {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds} board was on the felt, and Daniel Hughes bet 325,000 into a 600,000 pot from the big blind. Vanessa Kade responded with a raise to 750,000 on the button, and Hughes snap-called.

Kade tabled {k-}{6-} for trip sixes, but Hughes announced, "Full house," and flipped over {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for sixes-full and won the big pot.

Newland Gets New Life With a Double Through Chip Leader Kade

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Vincent Newland raised to 105,000 on the button, then snapped off a three-bet shove for his last 685,000 from Vanessa Kade in the big blind.

Vincent Newland; {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Vanessa Kade: {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

"Damn," Kade said upon seeing Newland's aces. She picked up a Broadway draw after the {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop and {10-Diamonds} turn, but Newland's set of aces earned the double after the {2-Hearts} river.

Vanessa Kade raised to 110,000 on the button, then called a three-bet shove for 500,000 from Michael Macey in the small blind.

Michael Macey: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Vanessa Kade: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Kade's jacks were good for another knockout after a {4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts} board provided no ace to Macey.

Eldar Silenced by Song

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Alon Eldar
Alon Eldar

Alon Eldar jammed for 375,000 from the small blind, and Sung Song three-bet shoved in the small blind, chasing out Daniel Sisemore in the big blind.

"I'm hating you forever for the king-ten!" Eldar told Song before the cards were tabled. He was about to hate Song a bit more;

Alon Eldar: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Sung Song: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Eldar let out a gutteral scream upon seeing he had ran smack into aces, and with Aaron Knapp and his 80,000 chip stack watching from the other table, Eldar was left dead by the turn of a {9-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{q-Spades} board, and Eldar let his frustrations vent out with another loud yell.

Eldar came back to the table back in good spirits after his vent, however, and he smiled and told the table, "A fifty-five million dollar bounty on his head!" while pointing at Song. Eldar hit the rail, while Song brought us down to the final two tables. Stay tuned for a full seat draw as the players redraw for seats.
