Guanyun Cheng opened under the gun and action folded around to Nate Steuer in the big blind, who defended.

The flop came and Steuer led out with roughly a pot-sized all-in bet, which Cheng wasted no time calling.

Steuer had opted for a stop-and-go with a flopped top pair, but he was up against another top pair with a better kicker and a heart draw. The turn and river did not improve him, ultimately giving Cheng a flush en route to his departure from the tournament in 12th place — another deep run after he was the champion of the RGPS Council Bluffs $420 Golden Ticket Main Event this past November.

Dan Dykhouse open-jammed in the hijack for around 500,000 and ClubGG Qualifier Vicki McKee immediately dropped two chips onto the felt thereafter from the cutoff. All remaining players folded.

"Do you have aces?" asked Dykhouse, given the quick nature of McKee's call. He showed as McKee told him that she did not have aces. Instead, she had , the hot hand at the table over the past 90 minutes.

"That hurts," remarked Dykhouse, having been on the wrong end of a hand with pocket nines earlier for a large pot. Unfortunately for him, McKee's nines bested his sixes as the runout changed nothing and resulted in him taking 14th place.

Mike Henrich opened to 65,000 in middle position and saw Dan Dykhouse re-jam in the hijack. David Caron called all in for 40,000 in the small blind and Henrich announced a call all in for less.

A jack appeared on the flop to put Henrich out in front, where he further improved to top two pair as the turn and river completed the runout. His stack was totaled to be 440,000, and Dykhouse was left with just 80,000 after paying him off.

On the next hand, however, Dykhouse quadrupled after preflop action culminated with an isolation-raise from Jeff Tebben's , which left him flipping for his tournament life with . Two kings came on the flop and Dykhouse was back in action.
