Ludlow Doubles Through Loncar

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Ben Ludlow
Ben Ludlow

With a healthy pot already built by the turn board of {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, Ben Ludlow moved his last 175,000 in from middle position after Michael Loncar checked in the small blind.

Loncar made the call to put Ludlow at risk.

Ben Ludlow: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Michael Loncar: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The {a-Hearts} fell on the river confusing the dealer momentarily as he called for a payout as Loncar made his flush, however the card also gave Ludlow a full house for the win and the double up.

Meanwhile, at adjacent tables, Pierce Philp and Stuart Young were eliminated.

RunGood Contenders Series Season Finale is Nguyen's to Lose on Tuesday

Toan Nguyen
Toan Nguyen

The historic first-ever $1,000,000 guaranteed RunGood Season Finale crowns a champion Tuesday here in Northern California, and while just 32 of the original 417 total entries are returning for a chance at the title, one stands well above the other 31.

With a stack of 1,890,000, Sacramento’s Toan Nguyen takes more chips than the second and third-place players combined into Day 3 after an incredible run late in the day Monday. Those competing stacks belong to Charisse Case (935,000), and Michael Loncar (840,000).

Also in contention near the top of the chip counts, but still well behind Nguyen are two-time WPT champion and Day 1b chip leader Cornel Cimpan (775,000), and Day 1a chip leader Lane Jacobson (644,000).

A trio of RunGood Ambassadors are also still in the mix with Tyler Patterson (570,000), Ray Henson (455,000), and Ben Ludlow (260,000) all looking to make a move Tuesday.

Cards will be back in the air at noon local time at level 19 with blinds of 10,000/15,000 with a 15,000 big blind ante.

The players will receive 15-minute breaks at the completion of every second level with a dinner break on the docket as well at a yet-to-be-determined time.
