Jin Doubles his Stack

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Level 12: Blinds 2,000/4,000/4,000

After Casey Hatmaker made it 22,000 to go preflop, Jay Jin quickly moved all in for around 105,000.

"You acted so fast... You never act that fast," Hatmaker was thinking aloud as he pondered his decision.

"Ok, I call," he said after a few moments and set out the chips to put Jin at risk.

Jay Jin: Q9
Casey Hatmaker: A10

Hatmaker was ahead going in with his ace-high, and the flop of 1064 gave him top pair but it also gave Jin a flush draw. And as if he knew, Jin spiked the 7 on the turn for a flush and left Hatmaker drawing dead as the river came the meaningless 6.

Jin was awarded the large pot for a full double while Hatmaker was left with around 75,000.

Double Knockout for Dealmeida

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Manuel Dealmeida
Manuel Dealmeida

Level 11: Blinds 1,500/3,000/3,000

After some preflop action, the under-the-gun player moved all in and Manuel Dealmeida made the call, followed by an all-in by Tana Karnchanakphan for less. The three players then all tabled their cards, with Dealmeida covering.

Tana Karnchanakphan: AJ
Under-the-gun player: 77
Manuel Dealmeida: 1010

The flop came out 4K10 to immediately give Dealmeida top set of tens, although Karnchanakphan was still alive with his gutshot straight draw. Unfortunately for him, the runout of 28 did not do it and he and the other player were eliminated as Dealmeida scooped the pot.

Barry Sits Down and Immediately Stacks Opponent

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Level 11: Blinds 1,500/3,000/3,000

The player in early positon open-shoved for around 50,000 and Thomas Barry who just got moved to the table made the call to put him at risk.

Early Position Player: A9
Thomas Barry: QQ

The flop came out Q92 to immediately give Barry a huge lead with his top set as his opponent could now only hit running nines or aces to stay alive.

Unfortunately, the turn 8 left him drawing stone dead and the A on the river just added insult to injury as it gave him two pair. Barry was awarded the pot to pad his stack as his opponent made his way to the exit.

Mischel Quadruples Up

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Level 10: Blinds 1,000/2,000/2,000

After some preflop shenanigans, the button and Josh Mischel in the big blind were all in for around 7,000 each, while the late position player and Josh Berdo in middle position still had action on the side.

Berdo and the button checked all the way through the board of KKQ4A and the hands were all tabled:

Big Blind: 22
Josh Mischel: J10
Josh Berdo: 22
Late Position: 55

Mischel ended up having the best of it with his rivered Broadway and he scooped the entire pot for a full quadruple-up while the button player was eliminated.

Still Some FIre in Burns

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Level 10: Blinds 1,000/2,000/2,000

Short-stacked Anthony Burns moved all in preflop and was called by Elia Ahmadian to put him at risk of elimination.

Anthony Burns: 1010
Elia Ahmadian: KQ

The flop of K26 gave Ahmadian an immediate lead with his pair of kings, and Burns began to stand up as the turn came the J. But miraculously, the 10 smacked down on the river to give him a set of tens to win the pot and stay alive.

"Yeah, Chris taught me that one!" Burns laughed, referring to Chris Moneymaker as he scooped in the pot for the double.

Barry Gets There

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Level 9: Blinds 1,000/1,500/1,500

On a heads-up flop of K105, Elia Ahmadian led out for 5,000 from the cutoff and was called by Thomas Barry on the button to see the turn 3.

Ahmadian fired again for 15,000 but Barry refused to be deterred and made the call to see the J fall on the river.

Both players then checked and Ahmadian announced ace-high but then Barry flipped over AJ for a rivered jack to take down the pot.

Joel Lanning

Joel Lanning moved all in from early position and Ryan Brown made the call from the big blind to put him at risk.

Joel Lanning: 99
