Under the gun limped, Jeff Platt was next to act and raised to 6,000. Corey Paggeot was in the small blind and jammed all in. Under the gun swiftly folded and Platt thought for about 20 seconds for his remaining amount of around 40,000. Eventually, he called.
Paggeot turned over the AxKx and Platt revealed that he had been slow rolling with his tank as he showed pocket rockets AxAx.
The flop came 10x7x6x. The turn was the Qx to provide a little bit of sweat before the river was the Jx to connect the straight for Paggeot and send Platt out the door on Day 1a.
Platt left in good spirits regardless while retelling the hand and making sure to point out his slow roll which the poker gods may have ended up punishing him for.
