Action was picked up in a big pot between Mark Davis in first position against both the small blind and the big blind.

The flop came out 7♥6♣[3ch] and action checked to Davis who bet 27,000 which saw only the small blind call.

On the turn 2♥, the small blind checked over to Davis who moved all in for 120,000 which sent the small blind into the tank.

"Will you show?" she asked "I'm going to make a big laydown."

Davis nodded and the small blind showed Q♦Q♣ for pocket queens. Davis kept up his end and showed K♠7♠ for a pair of sevens.

"I did not know I was bluffing," Davis remarked after the hand "when you didn't snap I thought I was good."

At another table, Joey Gargiulo was seen exiting the tournament area.

The first official open event of The RunGood Poker Series came in the form of Even #2: $200 Series Opener No-Limit Hold’em. A total of 130 entrants came out to play, building a prizepool of $20,800 and paying out 17 spots.

After a heads up deal was made, Michael McCullough chopped with Michael Sengdetka to take home his first RGPS ring as well as $4,433. A career best for the Alabama resident, and his first RGPS cash, making him eligible for the RGPS player of the year race.

Action was picked up on the flop between four players including Terry Hawkins in the cutoff and Tiffany Keathley in the big blind.

The flop read 10♦9♣6♣ and action checked over to Hawkins who bet 12,000 which all three of his opponents called.

On the 2♦ turn, action checked around to Hawkins once more who sized up to 30,000 which only one player called in the small blind.

An A♠ peeled off on the river as the small blind tapped a chip on top of his stack to indicate a check. Hawkins moved all in for 67,000 and his opponent snap folded, prompting Hawkins to show Q♣7♣ for just queen-high as he took down the sizable pot.

A player opened to 10,000 in late position which saw WPT champion Mark Davis call in the cutoff while another player called in the big blind.

The flop came out J♠7♥2♥ and the big blind checked to the late position player who bet 5,000. Davis raised to 17,000 which saw the big blind call, while the late position player jammed for 30,000. Davis asked for a count before moving all in himself for just shy of 200,000.

"Let's play a big one," Davis told the big blind "Somebody's gotta catch Moneymaker."

The big blind tossed his hand away, saying he folded a jack.
