The top dogs from all the flights over the past couple of days were Michael Bell (772,000), Levi Wagner (614,000), Justin Chan (519,000), and Rick Troendly (460,000). All of them would be taking home their first RGPS title if they could spin their stack to the final table. Troendly has the added experience of finishing in 7th place last year and will be looking to better that finish today at noon.
Many other notables of the game found their ways to bags as Matthew Betti (437,000), Mario Lopez (366,000), Josh Prager (350,000), Mitchell Collins (241,000), Julie Cornelius (166,000), Tyler Patterson (103,000), and Lexy Gavin-Mather (101,000) all look to add to their decorated resumes. Forrest Kollar (141,000) sits in third place in the RGPS Player of the year race and looks to hold that position with a strong finish in this tournament.
Play ended with 27:13, left on the clock in Level 16 with blinds at 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 big blind ante. This flight was the earliest ending flight and will be the time the other players return to tomorrow. The blinds will be upped to 40-minute levels.
