Robinson Still Climbing

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action was heads up with QK963 on the board and a big pot in the middle when Bradley Robinson tossed out 30,000. His opponent gave it some thought and called — only to see Robinson's K9 take the pot with two pair.

Meanwhile, Tom Millward has crossed the half-million mark on another table.

Last Time in Jacksonville

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Antwan Prince
Antwan Prince

The RunGood Poker Series is back in Jacksonville, after a debut stop in 2023. Last year’s RGPS Jacksonville Main Event saw Antwan Prince take down the title after the final four remaining players agreed to a deal. Prince locked up $92,796, along with the bestbet trophy and the RunGood Series ring.

It easily marked the largest score of Prince’s career, despite entering Day 2 with one of the shorter stacks in the room and reaching the final table fourth in chips. The rest of the four-way deal and other final table payouts are listed below.

Phuong Takes, Saldago Takes Back

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Kelly Salgado
Kelly Salgado

Ta Phuong raised to 11,000 and Kelly Salgado came along from the big blind to see 78Q on the flop. Phuong continued for 13,000 and Salgado called. Both players checked the K turn and the 10 river to get to a showdown. Phuong showed JJ and Salgado mucked the losing hand.

On the next hand, Tom Millward raised to 7,500 from late position and Phuong called from the button before Salgado raised to 20,000 from the small blind. Both players called and action was three ways to a 1052 flop.

Salgado tossed out 35,000 and Millward got out of the way for Phuong to call. The turn was 8 and Salgado shoved with more than Phuong.

Phuong spent a moment in the tank but it was too rich so he gave up the pot.

Meanwhile, Jared Wade has a growing pile at the same table.
