The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is at Downstream Casino and the second of four starting flights of the RGPS Joplin $600 Main Event gets underway tonight at 6 p.m.

Those planning on playing Day 1b are in luck as RunGood crushers Brian Winter and Daniel Lowery already found bags, though both could decide to take another shot on Day 1 in the "bigger stack forward" event.

Like the first starting flight, Day 1b will feature 30-minute levels with blinds kicking off at 100/200/200. Players will start with 30,000 chips, so there is plenty of time for deep-stack play.

Day 1b will likely bring out both new faces and players who failed to advance during the first flight, including Ashley Frank, Rachel Sawyer, Lance Ledford, Douglas Dalton and Rodney Spriggs, who was eliminated by Lowery late in the evening.

Survivors from all four flights will return on Sunday at 1 p.m. to play for their share of the and a RGPS Destination RunGood ring.

Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team is on-site here at Downstream Casino and ready to provide updates on the $100,000 guaranteed Main Event.

“Destination RunGood is more than just a theme; it's an invitation for players to experience poker as a way to explore the country,” said RGPS CEO Tana Karn. “We've carefully curated the Spring Season to deliver excitement, camaraderie, and unparalleled competition."

This week’s stop marks a return to Joplin, ahead of visits to Council Bluffs, Reno and St. Louis in late April.

The tour's final swing will take it to Bay Area-favorite Graton Casino and then Kansas City before the Season Finale at Thunder Valley in July.

Key Highlights of the 2024 Spring Season:
