Five More Hands
We're down to 23 players in action with 10 minutes to go in the last level of the last Day 1 flight. The clock has been stopped and the tournament director has instructed five more hands be dealt at each of the remaining tables. At the conclusion of those hands, the surviving players will bag up their chips and return at noon tomorrow for Day 2.
We'll bring you a complete tally of the combined field, their chip counts, and Day 2 seat assignments following the bagging process.
At the start of Level 12, Daniel Lowery held the chip lead with nearly 200,000 chips--off from his peak at 272,000. However, Lowery has continued to be active and has lost back some of those chips, most notably to Eric Colvin, who now sits with around 150,000 in his stack.
As a result, we once again have a race for the Flight C chip lead that's too close to call without an official count.
