Watson Back to Start

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 125 ante

Mike ''SirWatts'' Watson open-raised to 2,300 from the hijack and got called by ''calldeKhigh'' on the button. The flop of J2K saw Watson continue for 1,775 before ''calldeKhigh'' matched the bet.

On the 7 turn, Watson put another 5,325 in the pot, which ''calldeKhigh'' called again. The 4 river completed the board and Watson now checked to his opponent, who responded by putting out a small bet of 7,455.

Watson quickly called and ''calldeKhigh'' could only show a failed bluff with this 98. Watson's pair of jacks with AJ was enough to take down the pot, and he was back to over starting stack.

The action checked through on the 597Q board until Mattsson finally put out a bet of 12,966 when the 2 river hit. ''MezuuUuuT'' quickly folded and Mattsson added some chips to his stack.

Bruschi Best with Cold-Call

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 125 ante

''Igdhuh'' was left with only 12,119 chips, which he put all in from the cutoff. ''SEATON1998'' was on the button and made the call, as did Renan "Internett93o" Bruschi from the big blind.

Bruschi then started a side pot as the 6J8 was spread. He led for 9,464 and received a call from ''SEATON1998''. Both players then checked the K turn.

Bruschi reaggressed on the 8 river by putting most of his stack in the middle with a bet of 31,232. ''SEATON1998'' quickly folded and the 66 of Bruschi scooped both pots, as the Q9 of ''Igdhuh'' was no match for Bruschi's full house.

Fintan ''easywithaces'' Hand opened from the cutoff to 2,070. The action folded to ''ilovetyumen'' in the big blind, who made a reraise to 8,280. Hand clicked on the call button and a flop of K10A was spread.

''ilovetyumen'' continued with a bet of 5,904 and Hand once more obliged with a call. On the 10 turn, ''ilovetyumen'' upped the ante to 9,800, but still Hand was not going anywhere as he put in the same amount of chips.

The 5 river saw ''ilovetyumen'' finally slow down and check. Hand smelled an opportunity and put in his entire stack, worth 89,406 chips. The bet was almost twice as big as the pot and sent ''ilovetyumen'' into his time bank. Eventually, the player from Mexico folded, and Hand chipped up to an above-average stack.

Yan Gets Creative

Level 5 : Blinds 450/900, 110 ante

''earthquakex'' raised to 2,070 from middle position and received calls from ''1_Stamf0rd'' on the button, David "MissOracle" Yan in the small blind, and ''Naveja8'' from the big blind.

The flop of 4106 was checked by the quartet of players before Yan led for 2,931 when the 6 turn fell. ''Naveja8'' and ''earthquakex'' folded, but ''1_Stamf0rd'' was not going anywhere and made the raise to 9,243. Yan responded with a massive three-bet to 39,150 and ''1_Stamf0rd'' made the call.

The Q river completed the board, and Yan took his foot of the pedal with a check. ''1_Stamf0rd'' followed suit and Yan could show nothing but 53 for some missed draws. The trips of ''1_Stamf0rd'', who tabled 86, were enough to rake in the big pot, and he soared above two starting stacks.
