Jonathan Revere moved in preflop from early position and Joe Ciffa called from the small blind. Revere was in bad shape with the against Ciffa's , and the board provided no help for Revere. Ciffa has chipped up to 330,000 and is in prime position to win back-to-back Summer Slam titles.
On a flop of , Joe Ciffa led out for 25,000 and Brian Bowen moved all in for 85,000. Ciffa asked for a count and then called.

Pierre Gautreau raised to 22,000 from the cutoff and Bruce Pace called on the button. The flop brough and Gautreau checked. Pace fired 30,000, Gautreau moved all in and Pace snap-called.

Pace flopped a straight and needed to fade a mirace to double up. He did just that as the board bricked out, and Pace doubled to 280,000.
Joe Ciffa limped from under the gun, Aaron Obstein moved all in for 66,000 from directly behind and Pierre Gautreau reshoved for 71,000 from the small blind. Ciffa tossed his hand into the muck and the cards were tabled.

Obstein was at risk and in danger but he vaulted into the lead on the flop. The turn and river changed nothing and Obstein doubled, crippling Gautreau.
Gautreau committed his last 5,000 on the next hand and lost to Joe Ciffa's Broadway.
