Mike Feldmeyer Eliminated in 11th Place ($629)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Mike Feldmeyer - 11th Place
Mike Feldmeyer - 11th Place

Action folded to chip leader Ryan Rivers in the small blind and he simply moved all in to put the pressure on Mike Feldmeyer in the big blind. Feldmeyer called off his last 50,000 or so and discovered he actually got it in good.

Feldmeyer: {k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Rivers: {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop gave Rivers a gutshot straight draw, but it was the {8-Clubs} turn that gave him the lead. The {8-Spades} river improved him to trips, which was good enough to send Feldmeyer home in 11th place. The remaining ten players are now combining down to the final table.

Reyes Doubles ... But Doesn't Realize It

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Kevin Reyes
Kevin Reyes

Kevin Reyes moved all in for 71,000 from early position and Alex Visbisky re-shoved from the small blind. The big blind folded, and the hands were turned up.

Reyes: {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Visbisky: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The dealer rolled out a {9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} board, and Reyes got up from the table and started gathering his things. He didn't realize he had the winning pair of nines.

"You won," the dealer told Reyes.

"Oh! I didn't even see the nine!" Reyes responded. And he sat back down.

Despite Reyes' best efforts get get out of here, we're still 11-handed.

George Johnson Eliminatedi n 12th Place ($629)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
George Johnson
George Johnson

A short-stacked George Johnson moved all in under the gun and Mike Feldmeyer, who was also fairly short, followed his lead and moved all in from the button. The blinds both folded and the cards were turned up.

Johnson: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Feldmeyer: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The {8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop didn't give Johnson much to work with, and neither did the {7-Hearts} turn. The {J-Hearts} river actually paired Johnson, but it was also a heart that gave Feldmeyer a winning flush.

Kurek the Penultimate Bubble Boy

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Michael Kurek
Michael Kurek

In the last hand before the break, a short-stacked Michael Kurek moved all in under the gun for 28,500 and cleared the field to Scott Aitchison, who called from the big blind.

Aitchison: {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Kurek: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop kept Kurek firmly in the lead, and the {9-Clubs} turn meant he just needed to dodge a king and ten on the river to double. Unfortunately for him, that proved easier said than done as the {10-Clubs} spiked on the river.

Kurek was eliminated in 14th place, which means the final 13 players will return from the break on the bubble and playing hand for hand.

Last Woman in the Field Falls

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Kali Zurek
Kali Zurek

Not long after being crippled, Kali Zurek moved all in for her last 19,000 from early position. Chris Myers then three-bet to 35,000 from the small blind, and Kevin Reyes snap-called from the big. The main pot was straightened out, a side pot created, and then the dealer put out the flop — {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Reyes wasted little time in moving all in for 129,000 and Myers thought for a couple of minutes before releasing his hand. Reyes then tabled the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}, and Zurek showed the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The {8-Spades} turn gave Zurek some hope, but the {6-Hearts} river failed to deliver on it.

Archer Spears Olshan and Harker

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Aaron Olshan
Aaron Olshan

Aaron Olshan was the victom of a nasty beat over at table three. Olshan got his last 65,000 or so chips in preflop against Chris Harker and Mark Archer. Archer had them both covered.

Olshan: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Harker: {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Archer: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

According to the PokerNews Odds Calculator, Olshan was an 80% chance to win a huge pot with his aces, but Archer picked up flush outs on the {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{K-Hearts} flop. Archer called for a heart, and the dealer quickly obliged with the {Q-Hearts} on the turn, clinching the whole pot for Archer. The meaningless {3-Clubs} completed the board, and two players were eliminated.

Budwey Bamboozled by Rivers

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Ryan Rivers
Ryan Rivers

A big hand just took place that left Budwey Salhab talking to anyone who would listen, with good cause too.

It happened when action folded to Salhab on the button and he opened with a standard raise. After the small blind folded, Ryan Rivers announced that he was all in and Salhab called off for approximately 65,000.

Salhab: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Rivers: {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Rivers was caught with his hand in the cookie share, but he would not be punished as the {2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop delivered him the lead with a pair of deuces. The {7-Diamonds} turn strengthened his position by giving him a flush draw, which he completed when the {6-Diamonds} appeared on the river.

Salhab was beside himself while Rivers silently stacked his chips.

Johnson Eliminates Nuss to Crack 100K

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
George Johnson
George Johnson

Eric Nuss opened for 3,900 from early position and received a call from George Johnson to his immediate left. When action reached Nicholas Walker in the big blind, he three-bet to 8,500, both his opponents called, and then all three players checked the {2-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop.

After the dealer burned and turned the {10-Diamonds}, Walker and Nuss both checked and Johnson casually tossed out two yellow T5,000 chips. Walker reluctantly tossed his hand to the muck, and Nuss hit the tank. Eventually he decided to move all in for 5,400 more, and Johnson called.

Johnson: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Nuss: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Walker couldn't believe it and claimed to have folded pocket kings. As it was, Johnson was well out in front and just needed to dodge a nine on the river to eliminate Nuss. The {8-Clubs} was close, but not what Nuss needed.

Welcome to the Table, Aaron

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Aaron Olshan
Aaron Olshan

Aaron Olshan took his new seat at Table 3 just moments ago, and on the first hand he busted Rick Block to join the chip leaders.

Tom Loll limped from middle position and Olshan raised to 3,000 from directly behind. One seat over, Rick Block three-bet to 7,300, and Loll folded when action folded back to him. Olshan responded with a four-bet to 15,000, and Block asked for a count on Olshan's stack before shoving for 45,000. Snap call.

Block: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Olshan: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

The {9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{J-Hearts} board bricked off for Block, and he was sent to the rail. Olshan now boasts a stack of around 95,000.

Ryan Rivers Wins the Bad Beat Jackpot for $72,000

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante
Ryan Rivers
Ryan Rivers

The Seneca Poker Room has been lively for several weeks as players looked to cash in on the massive Bad Beat Jackpot which was the largest the room had seen since 2010. It had gone several months without hitting — until last night.

Ryan Rivers, who is playing in this tournament, scooped the lion's share of the jackpot last night for $72,000. It happened at a $1/2 no-limit hold'em table when Rivers ran quad threes into a queen-high straight flush. Rivers got half of the $144,000 prize, while the winner of the pot collected 25% ($36,000), and the other players at the table split the other 25%.

Congratulations to Ryan and everyone else at the table who got a piece of the jackpot.
