Andy Spears was happy to relay a hand in which he made quads and was fortunate to come away with the pot.
With two limpers in front, Spears raised preflop with 
. Thomas was next to act behind and folded. The other two players called, bringing a flop of 
. Spears bet and both players came along to see the 
hit the turn, giving Spears quads and the second nuts. He went on to win the pot, of course, but things would've gotten interesting had Thomas called before the flop. Thomas claimed to have folded the 
preflop, allowing Spears to escape disaster.
