16 For Dinner

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

In a flurry of action at the two tables, Abe Reinhardt trapped Tom Guindon into doubling him up and Geoff Saxton busted both
David Battaglia and Steve Bullard after getting it in behind preflop with the {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and making a full house on a {7-} river.

With that, the players headed off on a 30-minute break with just 16 remaining. Play will resume at approximately 6:05 p.m. local time.

Down To 18

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Michael O'Hallaran busted the player on his right, getting him all in preflop with the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Spades} versus the {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and holding through a {9-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} run out.

With that, the field is down to 18 and redrawing for seats at the final two tables.

Messed Around Got a Triple Double

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Ray LaRouech
Ray LaRouech

Ray LaRouech just tripled up big in a three-way all-in hand that sent Jason Clark to the rail and knocked Joseph Elia under the 100,000 mark.

There were flour limps into his big blind when Elia potted to 11,000. Clark shoved behind for 14,200 and LaRouech came over the top for a little more. Elia called with the best of it preflop.

Elia: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
LaRouech: {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Clark: {4-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop improved Elia to aces and kept him in the lead, but the {6-Spades} turn made LaRouech trip sixes. Trips held after a {4-Hearts} river.

Battaglia Over Guindon

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
David Battaglia
David Battaglia

David Battaglia just took a chunk out of Tom Guindon's big stack in what seemed liked the first pot he's lost all day.

It all started with a Mark Roberts 4,200 open that got three caller. When it checked to Battaglia on a {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, he made it 19,000. Only Guindon called.

Guindon checked the {6-Spades} turn and folded when Battaglia shoved for less than half the pot.

Plumber Rolling Along

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Tom Guindon is running away with the tournament.

After busting Alex Visbisky, he won a 100,000-chip pot off Mark Roberts, flopping kings and a king-high flush draw versus aces and an ace-high flush draw, then managing to come from behind and make trip jacks on the river.

The run good continued as he turned queen-high garbage into two pair to bust one shorty and take half another player's stack.
