Table 41 Chip Heavy

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Bin Weng just joined table 41 to create a dynamic where that table has significantly more chips than the other two tables as five of the six players have big stacks. The total amount of chips at table 41 accounts for about 45% of the chips remaining.

Rapid Eliminations Continue

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Jennifer Abad
Jennifer Abad

With the stack depth being quite deep, the amount of elimination thus far in the day has been a surprise as nearly half the field has been trimmed before the first break has arrived.

After Christopher Sparks and Maxwell Young were eliminated, Jennifer Abad would follow them out the door as she shoved all in from the small blind. Soheb Porbandarwala had her sweat his cards with him and it was not what she wanted to see as he peeled the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and called, while she had the {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} to miss the ace and send her out and bring the field to 19, and the average stack now even deeper at 81 big blinds.

Weng Powers Out Perrone

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Bin Weng
Bin Weng

Three-way action was on a flop of {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} as Farid Jattin led out with a bet from the small blind, Bin Weng raised to 32,000 from the big blind. Michael Perrone called on the button and Jattin got out of the way.

The turn was the {4-Clubs}. Weng fired 47,000 and Perrone called again. The river was the {9-Diamonds}. Weng led-jammed and Perrone had a decision to make for his remaining 155,000. He stewed it over for about three minutes before eventually laying it down.

Shing Shaves Rathi Further Down

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A large pot was already in the middle as the board read {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. From early position Phillip Shing bet 66,000, Mahesh Rathi called.

Shing tabled the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} which was the best hand as Rathi mucked his cards and was knocked down to about twelve big blinds which he would go on and lose all of in subsequent hands to be eliminated after starting the day third in chips.

Lyons Wins Flip to Carve From Weng

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jeremy Lyons was all in preflop with the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} against the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} of Bin Weng.

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} safe for Lyons as he gathered a double through the big stack.

Meanwhile, Ki Rector busted with his short stack and Adam Hendrix was also sent away as his short stack could not spin it up
