Surma Nearing 100,000

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

A player shoved all in for about 20,000 into a pot containing only 6,000 or so after a {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop. One player folded, and Lee Surma confidently announced a call, throwing {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} into the middle. It was way good against the overbettor, who turned up {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. The {7-Diamonds} and {3-Hearts} completed the board and the win for Surma.

"Unreal," Surma said as he added to his already large stack. "I've never ran this good in a tournament."

Surma has had some luck on the Mid-States Poker Tour before though, as he took down MSPT Mille Lacs all the way back in 2011 for a first-place prize of more than $47,000.
