Reuther Dominates One

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Barry Reuther had a bet of 3,500 in front of him in middle position against an opponent on the button who had raised to 10,500 on a {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop. Reuther put his opponent all in, and the player called for his last few thousand.

Reuther: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Reuther was in fantastic position only fading non-diamond eights, and the {4-Clubs} turn and {6-Clubs} river sealed it for him.

"You're a Sick B******"

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Two players checked to the hijack on a {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, and he bet 2,100. Both Jason Sell and Mark Hodge called from middle position, and the turn brought a {k-Clubs}. Again, both players checked to the hijack, who bet 3,600. Sell mucked, but Hodge wouldn't go away. On the {6-Hearts} river, Hodge came out betting with 6,500.

"I have a lot of faith in you Johnny, but did you really do it to me?" the player asked the dealer. " This guy doesn't fold, he never folds."

After a couple of minutes, the hijack tossed in a reluctant call, and Hodge showed him {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

"You're a sick b******," the hijack said, shaking his head.

"I have to think some percentage of the time, I'm ahead," Hodge replied.

Mader Springs the Trap

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Phil Mader
Phil Mader

A player opened for 2,100 in middle position, and Phil Mader made it 5,000 to go on his immediate left. Everyone else folded, and the two took in a {5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop heads up. Both checked, and an {8-Spades} fell, prompting the opener to shove for about 7,000. Mader immediately called, tabling {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} for top set. His opponent showed the bad luck: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a turned set. He missed the one-outer on the {10-Hearts} river.

Ormson Makes the Eight-Deuce Work

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Tim Vance check-called 1,000 from Larry Ormson, who was on the button, on a board of {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Vance checked again on the {a-Clubs} river, and he called another 2,000 from Ormson.

The Wisconsin native showed {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a flopped full house, and Vance just chuckled.

Players are on break for 10 minutes.
