Webb Gets the Best of Hartmann Again

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Ryan Hartmann completed his blind, and Steve Webb checked, saying he was scared of the flat-call. The flop brought {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}, and Hartmann checked. Webb bet 200,000, and Hartmann went deep into the tank.

"C'mon Craig," Webb said. "You've got me outstacked."

He repeated that a few times, and Hartmann finally announced he was all in. Webb snap-called with {k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, and Hartmann showed {8-Spades}{7-Hearts} for a straight draw.

"Come on," he said. "Let me beat this guy in a pot one time. Turn him dead."

Instead, it was Webb improving with the {4-Clubs} turn, and a {j-Hearts} river preserved his two pair.

Hartmann Doubles Through Dahlin

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Ryan Hartmann shoved for just over 1 million, and Adam Dahlin called.

Hartmann: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Dahlin: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Dahlin was drawing very slim, especially when {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flopped, but an {a-Clubs} gave Hartmann a sweat.

"Please, please, please," he said. The river brought a safe {a-Diamonds}.

Two Doubles

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Dan Hendrickson called the shove of Steve Webb, who had {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and trailed Hendrickson's {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Neither player improved, and Hendrickson doubled through.

The next hand, Webb was nearly all in from the blind, and Ryan Hartmann shoved from the small with {q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

"I guess I call," Webb said, turning up {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. He held up despite Hartmann's urging.

After the hand, the two exchanged testy words and were warned by the tournament director.

Todd Breyfogle Eliminated in 5th Place ($23,689)

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Todd Breyfogle
Todd Breyfogle

Todd Breyfogle shoved for about 500,000 under the gun, and Adam Dahlin called.

Dahlin: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Breyfogle: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The "sharkslayerr" was in a good spot, but a {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop left him in dire straits and in need of a ten. The {4-Diamonds} turn and {4-Clubs} river meant the marathon five-handed session has been cut to four.

Hartmann Doubles Through Hendrickson

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Ryan Hartmann shoved for 920,000, and Dan Hendrickson called.

"Dan's gonna be the one to take me out, huh," Hartmann said, rolling over {k-Spades}{q-Spades}.

Hendrickson was ahead with {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, but it was Hartmann surviving as he flopped a king and held.

Webb Doubles Through Dahlin

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Steve Webb shoved from the button for about 900,000, and Adam Dahlin called in the big blind with {a-Spades}{4-Spades}. Unfortunately for him, it was the worst case as Webb held {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. Dahlin flopped a four but found no more help, and the former monster chip leader is suddenly back with the pack.

Hendrickson Doubles Through Hartmann

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Dan Hendrickson pushed all in from the cutoff for 1.03 million, and Ryan Hartmann called from the small blind.

Hendrickson: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Hartmann: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

"No seven, I win," Hartmann said, rubbing his hands together. "Come on baby, hold this one."

"Seven of clubs, I think," Hendrickson said calmly.

The {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop was good for Hartmann, but the prophesied {7-Clubs} arrived on the turn,

"Unreal! Unreal!" Hartmann yelled as the {k-Diamonds} completed the board.

Players are on a 10-minute break.

Webb Doubles Through Hartmann

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Steve Webb shoved all in for 630,000 in the cutoff, and Ryan Hartmann stood up and called upon seeing his {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Webb held {a-Spades}{3-Spades}, and Hartmann seemed pumped.

"Only one over!" he said.

That over arrived on the {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Spades} flop, along with two spades. The {10-Spades} turn locked it in for Webb with the nut flush.

"Good job, you made the nuts," Hartmann said sarcastically. "You're the man."
