Mark Hodge, who currently sits atop the MPST Season 6 POY leaderboard, was just eliminated from the tournament at the hands of Brian Hartner.
We missed his bustout, but Hartner explained that he had called Hodge's three-bet holding and flopped top two of the flop. He check-called a bet, and then checked the turn. Hodge moved all in, and Hartner made the call. Hodge tabled pocket tens, and failed to find a third on the river.
Hodge already told us he'll be reentering a bit later on looking to add to his POY lead. Here's a look at how things stacked up heading into the MSPT Golden Gates Casino stop.

With just two more stops remaining after Golden Gates, Mark Hodge is looking to capture MSPT Season 6 POY honors. He currently sits atop the leaderboard, but it is a rather tight race. As such, it's no surprise to see Hodge, who made the final table of the MSPT Meskwaki last weekened, here looking to accumulate more points.
In a recent hand, the under-the-gun player limped and Hodge raised to 425 from the button. Ryan Simoneau, who fired and missed on Day 1a, called from the button, the small blind came along, and Steve Anderson called from the big blind. The limper called as well, and five players took a flop of . Action checked to Hodge, who continued for 750, and Simoneau popped it to 2,100. The rest of the field folded, Hodge called, and it was heads-up to the turn.
Hodge check-called a bet of 3,000, and then check-called another one for the same amount on the river. Simoneau tabled the for a full house, and it was good as Hodge sent his cards to the muck unseen.

Five players each invested 250 to see a flop of . Both blinds checked, the under-the-gun player bet 600, and Max Chrisp folded from the hijack. Nikki Nelson, a traveling dealer by trade, then raised to 1,500 from the cutoff. The blinds both folded, the under-the-gun player called, and Chrisp folded to make it heads-up action to the turn.
The under-the-gun player check-called a bet of 1,500, and then both players checked the river. Nelson tabled the for flopped trips, and it was good as her opponent sent his hand to the muck.

Yesterday, Aaron Massey made a deep run in the Day 1a flight; in fact, he made it to the final three tables. Unfortunately for him, he was eliminated late in the night.
Massey has opted to fire a second bullet and recently took a seat to the direct left of Kevin Boudreau.
In a recent hand, there was around 3,000 in the pot with a board reading when Massey, who had min-check-raised the flop, bet 3,000. It was enough to get his middle-position opponent to fold.
