Haim Gabay had gotten all of his chips into the middle against Jordyn Miller and was at risk for his tournament life with the dealer about to bring the runout.
Haim Gabay:
Jordyn Miller:
Gabay was not ahead for long as the flop came to leave him with nothing more than running kings or cards to a Royal Flush, both of which became an impossibility on the turn . The river was nothing more than a consolation prize for Gabay, and he found himself hitting the rail.
Meanwhile, Miller is now up to 144,000 after the knockout.

After grinding a stack below the 30,000 with which he started for the vast majority of Day 1a, David Moses was just seen with a stack north of 50,000 and confirmed he had just won a pot to earn it.
Moses limped in under the gun and saw one limp behind him before the small blind completed and the big blind checked his option. The flop came (rainbow) and the small blind bet 2,000. The big blind called and then Moses pumped it up to 6,000.
The small blind called Moses' raise to put action onto the big blind, who went all in over the top. Moses re-jammed and the small blind folded.
Big Blind:
David Moses:
The big blind found themselves needing to hit an eight outer to complete their straight draw and pull ahead of Moses' pocket rockets, but no help came and Moses found himself over 50,000 for the first time all day.

Sung Kim had opened under the gun and received calls from a player in middle position and Raman Afanasenka, who defended his big blind. The three saw a flop of and both Afanasenka and Kim checked. The middle-position player bet 2,500 and then both Afanasenka and Kim called.
Action continued three ways to the turn , and Afanasenka checked again. Kim fired out a bet of 3,500 and got a fold from the player in middle position to bring action back onto Afanasenka, who called.
The river fell and Afanasenka led out, betting 11,000. Kim decided that wasn't enough, and jammed all in over the top to put Afanasenka to a decision for his remaining 50,000.
Afanasenka thought for a while and then folded, earning Kim the pot.
