The second flight of The Mid-States Poker Tour: $1,600 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event at The Venetian Resort In Las Vegas, Nevada. Day 1b of the $1,600 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event Begins at 11:10 am, and is another opportunity for players to get a piece of the $2,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Last night saw 34 players bag up for Day 2 out of 272 entries and it was Las Vegas Native, Mike Heck leading the way with 726,000. This field looks to be much larger than the former and could potentially have a new tournament chip leader.

Many players are expected to come out and battle for an MSPT trophy, including former MSPT winners Daniel Sepiol, Kyna England, Blake Bohn, and Bobby Noel.
The players will begin with 30,000 in starting chips with blinds beginning at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. The blind levels will last 40 minutes each, with 10-minute blinds occurring after every 3 levels. Late registration will close after level 9, where a 60-minute dinner break will follow. The players will play down to 12.5% of the field, or a full 15 levels, whatever comes first.

A player in first position raised to 300 and action folded to Dan Bekavac on the button who called. The big blind three-bet to 1,500 and both players quickly called.
The flop came out and the big blind led for 2,000 which both the under the-gun player and Bekavac called.
The turn peeled off the and the big blind sized up to 6,000 which saw the under the-gun player fold and Bekavac call.
On the , the big blind checked and Bekavac bet 15,000. "You could have kings," said the big blind as he contemplated putting in the call. After some time, he tossed in a call and Bekavac turned over for three twos which was good for the pot as his opponent mucked and the 4-time MSPT champion nearly doubled his starting stack.

The player on the button raised to 300 and in the small blind, Chris Adams three-bet to 1,300 and the button called.
The board came out and Adams checked to the button who bet 3,000 which saw Adams call.
The turn of checked through to the river that saw Adams bet 6,500 and the button folded, giving Adams the pot.

MSPT 2021 Player of the year Kyna England sat down and raised to 400 in the hijack and was called by both the button and the big blind.
The flop of saw action check through to the turn where England bet 600 and took down the pot with little fanfare.

Michael Liang raised to 400 from the cutoff and on the button, Jeremy Steel three-bet to 1,500 which was flatted by the big blind.
With action on Liang he three-bet to 5,800 and Steel responded by moving all-in for for 24,200 effective which sent Liang into the tank.
After some more time passed, Liang mucked his hand, giving the pot to Steel.
