The 2013 PPC Aruba World Championship $2,500 Main Event has come to a conclusion. The man walking away with the title and first-place prize was [Removed:65]. He defeated a tough final table of competitors, including a battle with Joe Ebanks heads up. The two final players struck a deal to determine the winner, and [Removed:72] earned an adjusted first-place prize of $59,139 while Ebanks took home $50,861.

The action was fast and furious right from the start. Andy Seth doubled up on the very first hand with pocket queens versus Ryan Franklin's , and then on the second hand of the day, Stephen Sindler was eliminated by David Tuthill. Sindler couldn't come from behind against Tuthill's holding a dominated .

From there, Franklin went out in eighth, Sterling Savill fell in seventh, Seth was eliminated in sixth, and that Tuthill lost out in fifth place. Tuthill's elimination was especially big because it gave Robin a massive chip lead at the time over the final four players. Tuthill five-bet jammed with pocket jacks, but ran into Robin's pocket kings to hit the rail. Then following Tuthill's bust out, RJ Sullivan fell in fourth place to leave three-handed action.

At the start of the day, [Removed:72] led the field, but all eyes were on defending champion Joe Serock. Serock won this event last year, and was looking to complete the amazing feat of capturing back-to-back titles. Serock did his best to make it to three-handed play, but that's as far as his run would go. Ebanks and his pocket threes delivered the final blow to Serock, who couldn't find another double holding .

When heads-up play began, [Removed:72] had the chip lead over Ebanks and he began to steadily pull away. Pot after pot seemed to get shipped over to [Removed:72], while Ebanks was constantly trying to gain traction in the match. Eventually, [Removed:72] won a few key pots to knock Ebanks under 400,000. It was then time for Ebanks to really look to get his money in, and he did so with pocket deuces. Unfortunately for him, [Removed:72] had pocket tens. Not all was lost for Ebanks, though, thanks to a lucky two on the river that saved his tournament life.

Immediately following Ebanks' double, the two players requested the tournament clock be stopped so they could work out a deal. After a brief discussion, the two shook hands and a deal had been made. The agreement was that [Removed:72] would take $59,139 and be awarded the title while Ebanks would finish in second place with $50,861. No final hand was played out.
