Deal Numbers are Being Discussed

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

The clock has been stopped after the elimination of Bryn Kenney and the remaining three players asked for a quick break to look at possible deal numbers. All are fairly deep, however the pay jumps in the top three are very big.

Below are the updated chip counts.

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

Down to around 875,000, Bryn Kenney open-shoved only moments into the new level from the small blind and Dan Cates peeked at his cards, then quickly called.

Bryn Kenney: {K-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Dan Cates: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {K-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and the kicker played a crucial role to eliminate Kenney in 4th place for $ 506,090. On top of that, the American poker pro also claims important points for the yearly ranking and the remaining three players have $722,930 locked up for their efforts.

Aido Takes Two

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Sergio Aido has closed the gap to chip leader Koray Aldemir while Bryn Kenney fell below the million mark again.

First, Aido raised to 155,000 from the small blind and Kenney defended his big blind. The flop came {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and a quick continuation bet worth 180,000 by Aido did the trick to force a fold.

Two hands later, Aido was first to act and made it 110,000 to go. Aldemir called in the big blind and checked a flop of {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}. Aido bet 150,000 and Aldemir folded.

Aldemir Takes from Kenney

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Bryn Kenney raised to 110,000 on the button and Koray Aldemir called out of the big blind. On the {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop, Aldemir check-called a bet worth 115,000 and did so again on the {8-Clubs} turn for 240,000.

Aldemir then checked the {J-Spades} river and Kenney checked behind after brief consideration. Aldemir turned over his {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for two pair and that won the pot.

Cates Flips Well to Double Through Aldemir

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Dan Cates limped in from the small blind and Koray Aldemir raised to 150,000. Cates three-bet and called the four-bet shove of Aldemir to take a big flip for his tournament life.

Dan Cates: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Koray Aldemir: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}{K-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Cates ran up, commented the double with an "all right."

Aldemir Shoves Into Cates

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Dan Cates raised from the button and Sergio Aido called in the big blind. There weren't many chips in by the time the board had run out {K-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, and Aido bet 200,000. Cates raised to 500,000 and Aido folded.

One hand later, Koray Aldemir raised to 110,000 first to act and Bryn Kenney called in the small blind. Cates three-bet to 450,000 in the big blind and Aldemir took some time before moving all in. Both Kenney and Cates folded and Cates shook his head.

"You must have had a nice looking hand. Like jack three off," Kenney joked to Cates.

Devan Tang Eliminated in 5th Place (HK$2,780,000/$361,400)

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Devan Tang
Devan Tang

Another two hands would see the next player out of chips and it was Devan Tang who had to settle for 5th place and a payday of $361,400.

Hand 1

Tang open-shoved from the button for his last 175,000 and Koray Aldemir called in the big blind.

Devan Tang: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Koray Aldemir: {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

"I hope you flop a flush," Tang joked, and the board came {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{K-Spades} to let Tang double with ace-high.

Hand 2

One hand later, Tang moved all in again, this time for 395,000 from the cutoff. Aldemir called out of the small blind and Sergio Aido got out of the way in the big blind.

Devan Tang: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Koray Aldemir: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The flop of {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} was a sweat with top two pair versus straight and flush draw. After the {10-Diamonds} turn, Aldemir improved to a straight and the blank {3-Clubs} river changed nothing anymore. Tang doubled once, but could not fade the run-good of Aldemir a second time to join the rail.

After the hand, the stop was clocked and Daniel Colman was presented the trophy for taking down the 6-Max Event.

Wai Kin Yong Eliminated in 6th Place (HK$2,224,000/$289,120)

Level 18 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Wai Kin Yong

Within two hands, the stack of defending Triton Super High Roller Series Manila Main Event Wai Kin Yong has been reduced to zero.

Hand 1

Bryn Kenney opened to 110,000 and Yong shoved all in from the small blind, Kenney called within a heartbeat.

Bryn Kenney: {K-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Wai Kin Yong: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and the stacks were counted. Kenney was all in for 925,000 and Yong had that covered by just half a big blind.

Hand 2

One hand later, Yong was all in blind without looking at his cards on the button. Sergio Aido filled up from the small blind and Kenney checked in the big blind. Both remaining active players checked down the board of {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Aido showed {Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Kenney had the {Q-Spades}{7-Spades} and Yong was sweating his cards.

"Oh wow, I have outs," Yong said and first turned over the {9-Spades}. He then squeezed the second card and it was the {7-Hearts}, sending Yong to the rail in 6th place for $289,120.
