Kisacikoglu Folds Out Thomas, Leong Extends Lead
Over on the recently opened table four the action folded around to Germany's Julian Thomas in the small blind, who limped, before Turkey's Orpen Kisacikoglu made it 2,200 to go in the big blind.
Thomas called and it was heads-up to a flop of which both players checked. The turn saw Thomas attempt to seize the initiative with a bet of 1,500 but was quickly shut down by Kisacikoglu who raised to 4,000 to take the pot and climb to 84,000 while Thomas dropped to 27,000.
Over on table two we caught the tail end of a decent sized pot that played out between Dietrich Fast and Chan Wai Leong, picking up the action on the river with the board spread and over 25,000 in the pot.
Sitting in the big blind Fast fired for 19,000 on the river, leaving himself 24,600 behind and Leong did not take long to slide out the call. Fast showed for a flopped pair of nines, but was trailing to the of Leong, who had paired his jack to climb to over 154,000.
