Peter Lindberg Thomadsen opened for 6,500 from early position, and Postula Jacek shoved all in from two positions down for 25,400 more. Action folded back to Thomadsen who didn't waste much time calling.
Peter Lindberg Thomadsen:
Postula Jacek:
The flop was of no help to anyone, but the on the turn favored Jacek. The on the river was a blank and Jacek doubled.
Over on Table 4 two huge stacks are seated, and the two of them just clashed. Jouny Hanna was the chip leader at one point, but Andreas Johansson now has a lot more.
Johansson opened the button and Hanna three bet to 25,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded, Johansson made the call.
The flop came and Hanna checked. Johansson bet out 30,000 and Hanna now announced 100,000 while shoving in a huge stack of 5,000 chips.
Johansson needed some time, but eventually moved all in. Hanna instantly folded and they moved on to the next hand.
Ullerup Tve Hansen opened to 8,000 from the hijack and Ville Jantunen on the button made the call. Vytautas Kacerauskas in the big blind came along as well.
Kacerauskas checked to Hansen on and the pre flop agressor continued for 6,000. Jantunen nog raised to 24,000 and Kacerauskas shoved all in for 72,500. Hansen quickly folded, Jantunen called after asking how much it was.
Ville Jantunen:
Vytautas Kacerauskas:
Kacerauskas needed a club or runner runner straight or trips, but wouldn't get it. After the on the turn just a club could save him, the on the river did nothing for him.
Máté Mécs open shoved his last 50,000 in from early position. Ullerup Tve Hansen behind him shoved over the top all in for about 150,000 and action folded to Ville Jantunen on the button who had both players covered and also went all in. Both blinds folded.
Máté Mécs:
Ullerup Tve Hansen:
Ville Jantunen:
Jantunen was the favorite, but at least one player at the table had faith Mécs would win; "Deuces never loses" he said.
The cliché came true: . Mécs was now in front for the main pot, but Jantunen was still leading for the far bigger side pot. The on the turn changed nothing, but the on the river did.
"Thank you" said Mécs to his neighbor who now looked like a fortune teller. "It's just a fact you know" laughed the player in the one seat.
Jantunen wasn't laughing so hard, he was counting out chips to hand to his opponent. Jantunen was left with about 60,000, but busted out not much later.
Rasmus Agerskov opened to 8,000 from middle position and Johan Goslings right next to him shoved for just about 100,000 in chips. Action folded back to Agerskov who made the call.
Rasmus Agerskov:
Johan Goslings:
The Dutchman needed an ace or king, but instead the flop would come just about as bad as they could for him: .
Goslings needed help on the turn to stay alive, but would instead end up drawing dead: .
The on the river was there just to make things official and Goslings made his way to the exit while Agerskov started stacking his chips to make one of the biggest chip castles in the room.
