State Hits the Rail

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

With already about 10,000 in the pot on the turn, Tobias Peters led out for 7,300 with the board reading {5-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Adrien-Sorel State jammed for about 17,000 and was insta-called by Peters, who more than had his opponent covered.

State held {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for top pair and was drawing dead against the flush held by Peters with {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. The {8-Diamonds} on the river made things official and State wished said to his table, "good game."

After the hand, an opponent questioned whether Peters would have gotten it in earlier, and he shared, "I would have gotten it in on any flop."

Meanwhile, on the same table, Bulgaria's Daniel Chutrov has one of the bigger stacks in play of around 60,000.

He got up for a stretch and shared that some of it came during Level three with blinds at 150/300 with a big blind ante of 300.

Chutrov three-bet his opponent from 600 to 2,000 and got a call. He then continued for 1,600 after his opponent checked on a {7-}{7-}{j-} rainbow flop. His opponent led out for 3,200 after the {A-} appeared on the turn and Chutrov called.

The {J-} double-paired the board on the river and Chutrov's opponent check-called a bet of 4,500. Chutrov turned over pocket sevens for quads and won the pot.
