Vaseli Applying Pressure

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Jean Florentin Vaseli doubled up a couple hands back to a big stack of 150,000 and he's already using his stack to put pressure on his opponents.

Yaaqov Suliman limped from middle position and Vaseli limped as well from late position. Big blind Stefan Razvan Dragomir checked his option and the three saw the {7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop appear.

It checked to Vaseli on the flop and he put in a bet of 2,800. Both Dragomir and Suliman called the bet to see the {6-Hearts} turn come off the deck.

It checked to Vaseli again and he put in a 7,000 bet this time around. Dragomir folded and so did Suliman and Vaseli took down another pot.

Bernhardsen Doubles Up With Quads

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Gerret van Lancker, the Unibet Open London 2018 champion, raised to 3,000 and when the action was on Nikolai Bernhardsen he clicked it back to 6,000. Van Lancker decided to move all in for effectively 42,500 and Bernhardsen called.

Gerret van Lancker: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Nikolai Bernhardsen: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The flop was already very good for Bernhardsen when the dealer opened up {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Bernhardsen tried to hold it in but he let out a small cheer and a semi-internal fist pump. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and that meant Bernhardsen had secured the double up, but the dealer completed the board with the {8-Clubs} and that gave Berhardsen quads to double up.

Vaseli Holds in Big All-In Pot

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Jean Florentin Vaseli
Jean Florentin Vaseli

The pot had about 40,000 in it when the board read {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Tim English had 20,000 in front of him. Jean Florentin Vaseli was all in for about 55,000 and English had a decision to make. English called and opened up {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} for a gutshot straight draw, two overcards, and the nut flush draw. Vaseli opened up {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and was well in the lead.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Vaseli held on to the best hand, scooping himself a pot worth about 150,000. English was left with only 13,000 after the hand, which is about 10 big blinds in the current level.

Great Restart for Levi

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

It folded around to Marius Daniel Cazacu on the button and he decided to go all in. The player in the small blind was still absent from the table after the break and the player in the big blind, Shanar Levi, only had 22,800 in total. Levi had a visible tough decision to make but ended up calling.

Marius Daniel Cazacu: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Shanar Levi: {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}

Levi had to come from behind but the dealer dealt an excellent flop with {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{J-Diamonds}. The turn was the {J-Hearts} giving Cazacu fewer outs and the river was a blank in the form of the {2-Hearts}.

Ionescu Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Christodoulos Charalambous raised from middle position to 2,700 and the only player interested in the pot was Adrian Ionescu. Ionescu was that interested that he three-bet to 7,000. Charalambous called and the two went heads-up to the flop.

The {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop was dealt and both players checked. The turn was the {A-Spades} and Charalambous checked to Ionescu. Ionescu decided to bet this time and he put in a bet of 7,200. Charalambous folded and the pot went to Ionescu.

Dehlia de Jong
Dehlia de Jong

"I doubled through the only person I wasn't allowed to double through", said Dehlia de Jong as she was toying with her newly won chips. De Jong doubled up with a pair of kings against the queens of Daiva Byrne, or how De Jong calls her, "my poker sister".

De Jong propelled herself to a stack of well over 70 big blinds while Byrne has just over 30,000 left.
