Erik Seidel and Rainer Kempe went to a flop. Kempe kicked the action off with a bet of 9,000 only to see Erik Seidel raise all in having Kempe covered. After Kempe got a count realizing he had slightly less, the German high-roller boss slid his cards into the muck.
Erik Seidel opened to 7,000 from under the gun and Justin Bonomo three-bet to 19,000 from the hijack. Keith Tilston flat-called on the button and the blinds both folded. Seidel also called to go three ways to a flop of .
Seidel started with a check and Bonomo continued for 22,000. Tilston made the call and Seidel let his hand go. The turn brought the and Bonomo led out for another 40,000. Tilston wasted little time before sending his cards to the muck and Bonomo raked in the pot.
With over 100,000 already piled up in the middle and a completed board reading , Keith Tilston led with a bet of 45,000 only to see Justin Bonomo raise it up to 140,000. Tilston took no time three-bet shoving, having Bonomo covered, and after a brief moment in the tank, Bonomo folded.
With around 15,000 in the middle and the flop reading , the action was on Ben Tollerene in the cutoff. He bet 6,000 and was called by Bryn Kenney in the small blind.
The turn brought the and Kenney checked again as Tollerene fired in a bet of 22,000. Kenney continued to call and the completed the board. One more check from Kenney was followed by a tap of the table by Tollerene. Kenney tabled and Tollerene showed for the same pair but an ace-kicker.
Brian Rast is the latest player to grab a rack of chips and head for a seat here on Day 1. With Rast's entry, the field has climbed to 26 total with 14 players remaining.
Just moments after Rainer Kempe was eliminated, Sean Winter was moved into his seat. It didn't take long for Bryn Kenney to make short work of his new opponent. Within a couple of hands, Kenney gave Winter the same result as Kempe and another play was quickly eliminated from the field.
David Peters opened to 5,000 from the cutoff and Bryn Kenney just flatted on the button. Rainer Kempe pushed all in for his last 60,000 chips out of the small blind and the action was back on Peters. He elected to lay his hand down but Kempe's shove couldn't get through Kenney as he made the call.
