As Krach told it, Massey had jammed his last 20,000 or so and been called by the player with aces early, and then Krach shoved from the big blind with queens. Just one queen remained in the deck, but it emerged right away on the {4-Spades}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop. The turn and river were {4-Diamonds} then {10-Hearts}, and Krach had Massey and the other player, who had about 75,000, covered.

We found Brant Hale all in from the small blind on a board of {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades}. An opponent in early position had bet 10,000 and Hale was all in to put his opponent at risk for about 67,000. That player decided to call with {q-}{q-} but his set was no good as Hale had binked a straight with {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. The river was a brick: {3-Spades}.

Greg Jennings Riding an Up & Down Day

Greg Jenning's day has been anything but smooth. He got short-stacked a few levels ago and was grinding a sub-20,000 stack. We recently caught him where John Merchant opened to 1,600 and Jennings three-bet to 5,800. Merchant called, the flop came {K-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Jennings quickly put in all his 5,000 chips. Merchant mucked and Jennings have over twice the starting stack.
