Nathan Gamble was in the blinds and Layne Flack in middle position, and they got in a raising war on a {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop with Flack shoving over Gamble's check-raise. Gamble called for 925,000, and his {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} led Flack's {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} giving both players flushes, but Gamble's was best, and he collected the monster pot before heading to break.

Andy Hwang bet 72,000 on a {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop and got called by Brandon Steven on the button and Daniel Fuhs in the big blind. Action checked to Steven on the {q-Clubs} turn and he jammed for about 500,000. Fuhs snap-called and Hwang folded.

Fuhs: {5-Spades}{3-Spades}
Steven: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Steven's aces were stone dead and he pushed his stack to Fuhs.

Ray Qartomy vs. Mike Wang

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

On the first hand after the redraw, find Ray Qartomy and Mike Wang seated next to each other on the feature table on the stage. They got heads-up on a flop of {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Qartomy checked and Wang bet 110,000.

This is where things got a little strange - Qartomy started refering to himself as "Mike's daddy" and said "He didn't want to cross daddy." He check-raised to 280,000 and told him not to call. Wang took some time and called, to Qartomy's dismay.

The turn came the {3-Spades}, Qartomy bet 230,000 and again started talking an excessive amount about how not to play against "Daddy."

Wang remained motionless, Qartomy told him had no chance of winning and Wang called. Qartomy told the dealer that he would check dark and give Wang a chance to eliminate himself. The river was the {2-Spades}, action was on Wang. Qartomy kept telling him that there was no way he could win and should check to save chips.

Wang did check back, Qartomy tabled the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, Wang mucked and Qartomy celebrated his win.

Chino Rheem spoke up from across the table and essentially told Qartomy to tone it down.

Wang Forces a Redraw

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Brant Hale jammed for the second straight hand, this time on the button for about 340,000. Mike Wang called in the big blind.

Wang: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Hale: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

A board of {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} meant Hale was done in 28th and the remaining players are redrawing for the final 27 seats.
