Palacios had flopped top set to put his opponent's aces on the ropes. The 
turn gave the small blind both flush and straight draws, and the 
river completed the flush for the small blind, although he didn't immediately see it and was still standing up to leave when it was alerted to him that he indeed had made the best hand.
Palacios told us before exiting that he would return for tomorrow's Day 1c flight to give it another shot.
