Caibin Ai Eliminated in 13th Place ($19,929)

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Eric Bunch raised to 155,000 from under the gun and was three-bet to 350,000 by Caibin Ai out of the hijack. Action folded back to Bunch and he called, bringing a flop of {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts}.

Bunch checked to Ai, who put out a continuation-bet of 400,000. Bunch check-raised to 1 million and Ai came over the top of him, ripping in the last of his chips. Bunch quickly called and turned over his hand.

Eric Bunch: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Caibin Ai: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

"Gah!" said Ai, realizing his top pair, top kicker was in need of running outs to a full house or quads to stay alive in the tournament. The turn came blank to leave him drawing dead before the runout completed and he was congratulated on a well-played tournament, finishing in 13th place.

Meanwhile, the other table saw James Jewell open to 135,000 from the cutoff and James Mordue shoved his last 375,000 in from the big blind. Jewell called.

James Mordue: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
James Jewell: {5-}{5-}

Mordue's preflop coin flip situation turned bleak on the flop {5-Spades}{8-Spades}{q-Spades} flop. He found luck on his side, however, as the turn {10-Spades} and river {k-Spades} not only brought a flush on board to chop, but also gave him a ladder at the same time as the field was reduced to 12.
