Level 17 has begun and players have taken their seat at the final two tables.

Blinds are 2500/5000 with a 500 ante. Average stack is 101,600.

The event is five eliminations away from end of day.

Belmaaza Bolts Into Chip Lead

A short-stacked Alain Pare moved all-in preflop, one seat over Norman Messier three-bet jammed all-in for more, and Ramsey Belmaaza called all-in for just less than Messier.

Belmaaza: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Messier: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Pare: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Belmaaza was ahead leading into the flop and the dealer delivered their fate with a {6-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} board. Belmaaza's pair of sevens held knocking out Pare and crippling Messier.
