Cohen Works on a Miracle

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Sam Cohen was down to less than one big blind not that long ago and she just doubled up twice. In the first hand she moved all in from early position for 4,000 and got called by the player in the big blind. Her {5-Spades} {7-Spades} was behind preflop versus {Q-Diamonds} {2-Spades} but she picked up a flush draw on the {A-Spades} {10-Spades} {Q-Clubs}. Instead of the flush, Cohen made two pair with the {5-Diamonds} turn and the {7-Clubs} river.

A few hands later she moved all in from the cutoff for 6,300 chips and the player in the small blind called, Jeff Gross folded in the big blind. Cohen needed help again with {A-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} versus {A-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} and got exactly that on a board of {5-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {K-Clubs}.
