Accused Private Poker Game Cheater: "I Didn't Bring Any Cards Anywhere"

Level 3 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

One day after being accused of cheating a California home game out of millions, Tony Mars issued a statement to PokerNews denying the allegations.

Wesley Fei and Nikhil "Nik Airball" Arcot, both Hustler Casino Live regulars, claim that Mars, who also plays on HCL, brought a special UV-marked deck that allowed him to decipher face-down cards.

The alleged scandal occurred in a game at a private residence in Yorba Linda, California, a community in Orange County.

Lucas Greenwood opened to 1,500 from the hijack and received calls from Renat Bohdanov on the button and Maxime Dube in the big blind.

The flop came 976 and action checked around to Bohdanov who bet 1,100. Dube check-raised to 4,700 and received a call from Greenwood while Bohdanov folded.

Dube bet again for 12,000 on the A turn and this time it was enough to force a fold from Greenwood.

Ki Knocks Out Bonomo

Level 3 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Jesse Lonis had opened from the cutoff only for Justin Bonomo to three-bet to 4,000 from the button. Junhyougn Ki then put in a four-bet to 13,000 and Lonis folded. Bonomo moved all in for approximately 35,000 and Ki snap-called with a covering stack to put Bonomo at risk.

Justin Bonomo: AQ
Junhyoung Ki: AK

Bonomo was in rough shape with a weaker ace and the K95 flop left him drawing nearly dead. He found no improvement on the 7 turn or 4 river and made his exit from the tournament area while Ki took down a nice early pot.

Zouari Jams on Martirosian

Level 3 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Artur Martirosian raised to 1,500 from the button only to have Jeremie Zouari three-bet jam for 6,300 from the small blind. Martirosian tossed in the call and the hands were turned on their back.

Jeremie Zouari: A4
Artur Martirosian: 910

Zouari got it in ahead and held on the 32J flop. The 8 turn did give Martirosian an up-and-down straight draw to go with his two live cards, but the 8 on the river was a brick.

Ship the double to Zouari.
