John Duthie v. Chau Giang

After a flop of {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}{6-Hearts}, EPT creator John Duthie bet 2,200 and Chau Giang called. The turn card was the {Q-Spades}, and Duthie moved all in for 8,900. Giang thought for about two minutes before letting go of his hand and giving the pot to Duthie.

After the hand, Duthie improved to 20,000, while Giang dropped to 25,000.

What a Way To Go!

You're in the small blind, you complete with {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, the big blind checks. The flop is {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, you have 28K the big blind has 100K+. What do you do?

Blah, blah, blah. The turn is {Q-Diamonds}, the river is {J-Clubs} and, of course you get it all-in at some point; the big blind turns over {5-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

What a way to go!

Heard at the Tables

Overheard next to a table-- a player was standing and talking on his cell phone.

"Some days you eat chicken, some days you eat steak; today I am on a seven course diet."
