Rooting Against Remy

Au revoir
Au revoir
The quickest way to make enemies at the poker table is to slowroll with the nuts. The second quickest way to is to eliminate the most attractive lady in a room full of testosterone.

Remy Biechel regrettably chose the second option just a few minutes ago. Biechel opened with a raise to 2,000, and he found two callers, including our very-good-looking French heroine.

The flop came out {7-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {K-Clubs}, and Biechel checked. The man in the middle fired out a bet of 4,000, and Ms. France moved all in for 28,500. Biechel would make the call as the third player hemmed and hawed and folded out of the way.

Showdown
Man: {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs}
Woman: {4-Clubs} {5-Clubs}

"Au revoir," she said with a smile, seeing the bad news. She was still drawing very slightly live though, and if there were any justice in poker, she would find her runner-runner straight flush.

It was not meant to be. The {9-Clubs} on the turn ended any hope of keeping her here, and a meaningless {2-Diamonds} filled out the board. Biechel tallies the knockout, moving his way up to 98,000 and drawing forlorn stares from his table mates.
