If you search for Matt Salsberg on IMDb.com, you'll see that he has executive producer and writing credits for [i]HBO's Weeds[/b], and producer credits for Entourage. He's also quite a strong poker player - he has over $400,000 in career live tournament earnings, including a 70th-place finish in the 2011 WSOP Main Event.
This is Salsberg's second career six-figure score, and no matter where he finishes, this will be his largest career cash. The Hollywood producer has been among the chip leaders since the start of the tournament, and is looking to go wire-to-wire at the final table.
Seat 2: Philipp Gruissem (776,000)
Philipp Gruissem, known as "philbort" online, is a very agressive German with over $2.7 million in live career earnings. Gruissem's largest cash came in 2011 when he took down the £20,000 high roller at EPT London for $703,657. Two months earlier Gruissem took down another event on the EPT, winning a €10,000 tournament in Barcelona for $337,838.
Unafraid of a high buy in, Gruissem has participated in two of the biggest events this year. He played the $1 Million Big One for One Drop, busting short of the money, and nearly final tabled the HK$2,000,000 Macau High Stakes Challenge, finishing in 10th ($587,778).
Gruissem enters the final table with the second-shortest stack, but with his aggressive style anything is possible.
