Kyle Cheong opened to 21,000, Timothy Adams called on his direct left, and the action folded to Grégoire Boissenot, who defended his big blind. The flop fell {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, and Boissenot open-jammed for his last 90,000 or so. Cheong quickly folded, and Adams snapped it off.

Showdown:
Boissenot: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Adams: {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Raphaël Abitbol - 12th Place

Mohsin Charania opened to 21,000 from early position. Timothy Adams, who was recently moved to the table, called, and Raphaël Abitbol three-bet to 125,000 from the blinds. Charania quickly moved all in, Adams mucked, and the action was back on Abitbol. With just 150,000 or so behind, Abitbol tanked for the better part of thirty seconds, then called.

Showdown
Charania: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Abitbol: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, and Abitbol, a French qualifier who claims to have never played in a live tournament prior to the Grand Prix de Paris, is eliminated.

Daniel Amara Eliminated in 13th Place (€22,595)

Daniel Amara - 13th Place
Daniel Amara - 13th Place

Just before the break, Daniel Amara was eliminated by Mohsin Charania. We unfortunately missed the hand, but Charania let us in on the details.

According to the recent EPT winner, he opened to 17,000 from early position, and Kyle Cheong called on his direct left. Amara moved all in for 173,000, and the action folded back to Charania who re-shoved. Cheong folded.

Charania's {10-}{10-} was racing against Amara's {a-}{q-}, but the flop fell {j-}{10-}{10-}, giving Charania quads. The turn and river were inconsequential, and Amara was eliminated.

Jacques Enjoubault opened from early position, and the action folded to Matt Salsberg in the big blind, who moved all in having Enjoubault well-covered. Enjoubault quickly called, and the hands were opened.

Showdown
Enjoubault: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Salsberg: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

"Queens have been good to me," Salsberg said, grinning.

The {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Spades} flop changed very little, but the {q-Diamonds} binked on the turn, giving Salsberg two pair. The {8-Clubs} bricked on the river, and Enjoubault was eliminated.

Adams Takes Two off of Douieb

Timothy Adams is among the leaders

After winning a massive, near 500,000-chip pot off of Jérome Douieb with a flopped set, Timothy Adams won another pot off of the Frenchman to cross the million-chip mark.

Adams opened to 16,000 from middle position, Douieb called out of the small blind, and the flop fell {6-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Spades}. Douieb check-called 18,000 from Adams, and turn was the {k-Clubs}. Douieb checked again, Adams fired 41,000, and Douieb called.

The {5-Clubs} completed the board, and Douieb checked a third time. Adams fired a third bullet worth 91,000, but this time Douieb folded.
