'Erik' is one of the more common names in The Netherlands, and 'Van den Berg' for a last name is not unheard of as well. Still, what are the odds of two poker players participating in the same tournament with exactly the same name? Both Erik van den Berg's are regular players and both participated in some of the biggest tournaments in the world.
So, this isn't the first time we're dealing with this "problem". Because the PokerNews system does not let two players with the same name be inserted into our back end, we'll address the one playing today as Erik "popie" van den Berg, his nickname online.
The other Erik van den Berg played yesterday and survived the day with 147,400.
Now, let's just make sure we don't mix him up with Eric van der Burg, Thierry van den Berg, Remco van den Berg or Martien van den Berg.
"All in and a call," we overheard coming from Table 19, and we rushed over to the scene.

Campenhout:
The river brought the , and a Vergeer laughed in disbelief. He had just lost a big pot by an unlucky river, and Campenhout raked in the pot. A little while later Vergeer busted out.

Sofia Lovgren has just been spotted inside the tournament room, as has Italian pro Luca Moschitta. Lovgren has been traveling the international poker circuit for quite some time, but she's still looking to get that breakout live result.
Moschitta on the other hand won the Italian Poker Tour in Saint Vincent in 2013 for €180,000 after finishing second in Nova Gorica in 2011 for €97,000.
The tournament room here at Holland Casino is filling up quickly, and the numbers are increasing steadily.
Giacomo Fundaro took down the World Poker Tour Mazagan event in November 2012 for $166,704,, and he came close again a year later to winning another title in the WPT Caribbean St. Maarten when he finished second for $100,000 to Tony Dunst.
Fundaro has had plenty of success on the international poker circuit, and his biggest result was a second-place finish in the EPT San Remo Main Event for €298,700.
Dutch Master Classics of Poker Main Event winner David Boyaciyan has bought back in today. Boyaciyan sits to the direct right of Fatima Moreira de Melo and he has his work cut out for him with Floris van der Ven at the table as well.
Seth Berger busted out last night, and today he's back for more. Players are allowed to do two entries per day, and one before the start of play tomorrow if need be.
