Simon Trumper Eliminated

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Simon Trumper
Simon Trumper

Simon Trumper survived the bubble with just two big blinds, but couldn't make a comeback after the bubble burst.

The British poker legend shoved his chips in after only seeing the {A-Spades}, but would soon find out his second card was a {4-Hearts} as Tonny van Eck moved all in over the top with {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

The board ran out {K-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Trumper hit the rail in 43rd place (€6,000).

Huge Double Up for O'Dwyer

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Farid Yachou raised before the flop to 8,000 and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet from his immediate left to 25,500. The action folded back around to Yachou, and he made the call.

The flop brought out {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Spades} and Yachou check-called 14,000.

On the turn the {9-Clubs} hit and Yachou check-called another 34,000.

The river completed the board with the {3-Spades} and all of a sudden Yachou moved all in. O'Dwyer was covered, and after a while he called, committing his 126,000-chip stack.

Yachou tabled {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} for a pair of aces, and O'Dywer received a full double up with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for a straight.

Thierry van den Berg

Thierry van den Berg raised before the flop to 9,500 and the action folded to Hessel de Vries who moved all in from the small blind for 55,000 after which Johan Verhagen called all in from the big blind for 48,000.

"Call," Van den Berg announced right away, and the three-way showdown went as following.

Van den Berg: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
De Vries: {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Verhagen: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The flop brought {K-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Van den Berg jokingly said, "Showers!"

The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and the river the {3-Spades}, knocking two players out on the first hand after the bubble burst.

Senh Ung Bubbles the WPT Amsterdam

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Senh Ung
Senh Ung

Senh Ung moved in from the under the gun position for his last 39,500. Action folded to David Hudson in the cutoff and he called. Hudson, like Ung from Birmingham, didn't show his cards yet, and neither did Ung as the two of them had to wait till action on all other tables was over. They did tell each other what they had, and it was clear it was going to be a flip. Ad Schaap told Thierry van den Berg that he had folded one of Ung's outs.

Finally, the two of them were allowed to turn over their cards.

David Hudson: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Senh Ung: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Ung was still looking for an ace or king, or running tens. With the {4-Clubs} on the turn, just aces and kings were good for Ung. None of them would turn up on the river however; {J-Clubs}.

Senh Ung made his exit while the other players and busy rail started clapping. The bubble has burst, the remaining 45 players are in the money and guaranteed €6,000.

Kuan Out, Bubble Time

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We just saw {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{2-Spades} on the table when Fredrik Haugen moved all in to put pressure on Nico Kuan. Kuan had very little chips left behind, with quite a lot already in the pot, and he decided to call.

Haugen showed {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Kuan shook his head before mucking his cards.

There are just 46 players remaining, and we are now hand for hand.

[Removed:17] Busts in Huge Three-Way All In

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

[Removed:17] raised it up from early position and his neighbor Guy Goossens called right behind him. Action folded to Steve Warburton in the small blind and he squeezed all in for 82,000. The big blind folded, and action was on Yan. Yan made the call, and now all of the sudden Guy Goossens moved all in. Yan didn't need much time making up his mind, and called.

Steve Warburton: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Guy Goossens: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
[Removed:17]: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Warburton tripled. The huge size pot was for Goossens and he and Yan shook hands before the latter made his exit.

Wheeler Up, Stephensen Way Down

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

The flop showed {8-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} when Felix Stephensen check-called a bet of 13,000 from Jason Wheeler, who was sitting on his immediate left.

The turn was the {K-Spades} and both players checked.

On the river the {3-Diamonds} hit and Stephensen bet 8,500. Quickly Wheeler raised it up to 32,500, and Stephensen tanked for quite some time before making the call.

Wheeler showed {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and with that he took down this pot.
